Join the Swigert PTA Community
The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a national, grassroots,
not-for-profit volunteer organization that strives to facilitate opportunities
for parents to be engaged in their child’s academic and social development;
communicate with parents about upcoming events and parent participation
opportunities; and to raise money to supplement the DPS budget.
• Members are able to vote on school related issues (1 vote for individual membership and 2 votes for family membership)
• Members financially and altruistically support the school
• Members are better informed
PTA MEMBERSHIP DUES
Yearly dues are $7 per person.
PTA dues can be paid through credit, cash or check at the PTA meeting or by leaving a check in the Treasurer box labeled membership. Treasurer box is located in the Swigert office. Please make checks payable to Swigert PTA, write “dues” in the memo line.
